There may come a time when you are unable to make decisions. It might be that you are in hospital, need help with daily tasks or you have been diagnosed with a long-term illness. A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document, of which you appoint an attorney to make decisions on your behalf if you are unable to do so yourself. It can be a temporary measure, or part of your long-term plan.

At Monika Hill Legal Services, we offer both Health and Financial LPAs. We aim to provide you with clarity and confidence in our services. We offer face-to face meetings for all of our LPA clients, and we ensure to create a confidential space where we can discuss any wishes or questions you may have. Using our services to create your LPAs can prevent issues or complications later down in the line. We know that losing mental capacity is a frightening thought, but LPAs aim to take away the administrative difficulties that can come with that too.

It is up to you where you keep your Will/ LPA. We offer secure storage at no additional cost. However, if you would rather take the original, we will keep copies on our file instead.
